INSTALLATIONS

All installations realized up to now were developed for specific sites, BARMEN SIGNIFICATIO GESUALDO at Groß-Gerau (2000) as well as „Raum für alle / nolens volens“ („space for all / nolens volens“) at Kirchheim/Teck; there I integrated an absurd paraphrase on the proverbial Swabian mentality of everyone building his own house and on strange aesthetic ideas of comfortableness into the the renaissance storage building.
The „Shelters“ at the reservoir of Prenzlauer Berg at Berlin picked out the history of the reservoir as shelter and torture chamber of the SA as a central theme.
Three shelters against humidity, cold and noise became claustrophobic chamber infiltrated by sounds representing what the chamber should preserve from.

Big installation-like objects like the „Klaustrophobikon“ can be shown without regard on the space.
